The Citizens Group joins North London Citizens as founder member
The Citizens Group became a founder member of North London Citizens last night. More than 20 NNLS members attended as a part of the group and at least another 10 members were there as part of other groups including the MAROM/NOAM group. Rabbi Jonathan joined the Imam and Minister at the beginning of the event offering words of Torah to inspire the gathering. There was an incredible array of nearly 40 North London schools, churches, mosques and other organisations represented by a hugely diverse group of Citizens. From the Jewish community we are joined in founder membership by Finchley Reform Synagogue, North London Progressive Jewish Community, and MAROM & NOAM. Micah Gold and Sharon Gewirtz took part in the roll call of founder members on behalf of our group. It was a hugely inspiring event and set the scene for a new beginning for working with our neighbours on issues of common concern. If you attended the event, please share your reflections below

Hearing how others had worked within their own communities to identify common causes of concern and how those communities had strengthened as a result was really inspiring. NNLS has a reputation for being a buzzing community and this process will make us stronger, it seems to me truly fitting that we lay our foundations in this way as we move into the new building.
